Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈)가 6월 17일 첫 정규 앨범 'GO生'(고생)을 발표한다.
매 앨범 작사, 작곡, 편곡에 참여해 그들만의 ‘마라맛 음악’ 세계를 구축한 스트레이 키즈는 더욱 독특하고 실험적인 작품으로 승부에 나선다.
팀 내 프로듀싱 그룹 쓰리라차(3RACHA)는 새 음반과 동명인 수록곡 'GO生'부터 타이틀곡 '神메뉴'(신메뉴), 'Easy'(이지), 'Pacemaker'(페이스메이커), '비행기', '일상', 'Phobia'(포비아), '청사진', '타', 'Haven'(해이븐), 'TOP ("신의 탑" OST)'(톱), 'SLUMP ("신의 탑" OST)'(슬럼프), 'Gone Days'(곤 데이즈), '바보라도 알아'에 이르기까지 전곡을 직접 작업했다.
타이틀곡 '神메뉴'는 한번 들으면 절대 잊히지 않는 강한 중독성이 특징이다. 제목에는 새로운 메뉴라는 기존 의미와 신이 내렸다는 뜻이 중의적으로 내포돼 있다. 여덟 멤버는 신곡을 하나의 요리라고 지칭하며, 모든 리스너의 취향과 입맛을 이 메뉴로 사로잡겠다는 패기를 담았다.
이 곡을 작사, 작곡한 방찬, 창빈, 한은 "강렬한 힙합 사운드에 다양한 악기를 더한 곡이다. '기존의 틀을 깨고 새롭게 한 발짝 앞서 나가겠다'는 스트레이 키즈의 구호 'STEP OUT'의 의미를 강조해 봤다. 퍼포먼스 역시 어디에서도 본 적 없는 실험적인 느낌이다"라고 설명했다.
스트레이 키즈는 전체 앨범의 키워드와 콘셉트, 음악 등 전방위를 진두지휘하며 그룹 본연의 매력을 100% 구현하기 위해 열과 성을 다했다.
가공되지 않은 거친 눈빛과 화려한 그라피티 효과 등을 이용해 생생하게 살아 숨 쉬는 날 것의 느낌을 시각적으로 표현했다.
특히 멤버들은 팀의 색깔을 잘 구현하기 위해 평소 관심 있게 지켜본 뮤지션과의 컬래버레이션을 직접 제안했다. 이렇게 구성된 첫 정규 앨범의 작가진은 공개와 동시에 큰 이목을 모았다.
1번 트랙 'GO生'에는 플룸(Flume)과 협업한 작품 'Skin'(스킨)으로 2017년 그래미 어워즈 '베스트 댄스/일렉트로닉 앨범상'을 수상한 엠엔디알(MNDR)이 작곡과 편곡에 손을 더했다. 여기에 제니퍼 로페즈(Jennifer Lopez), 찰리 XCX(Charli XCX) 등 세계적인 아티스트와 작업한 뮤지션 피터 웨이드 코위슈(Peter Wade Keusch)가 의기투합해 완성도를 높였다.
3번 트랙 'Easy'는 레이디 가가(Lady Gaga), 크리스 브라운(Chris Brown) 등과 호흡을 맞춘 마이크 달리(Mike Daley), 셀레나 고메즈(Selena Gomez) 곡에 참여한 헨리 오예칸미(Henry Oyekanmi), 저스틴 팀버레이크(Justin Timberlake) 앨범을 작업한 미첼 오웬스(Mitchell Owens) 등이 크레디트에 이름을 올렸다.
이외에도 유명 K팝 아티스트들과 함께한 베르사최(VERSACHOI), 영광의 얼굴들(Full8loom), 모스픽(MosPick), 적재, 이스란, 이어어택(earattack), 이해솔 등 화려한 작가진이 대거 참여했다.
또 스트레이 키즈가 가창한 네이버 웹툰 애니메이션 '신의 탑'의 오프닝 곡 'TOP ("신의 탑" OST)'과 엔딩곡 'SLUMP ("신의 탑" OST)'가 수록돼 한층 풍성한 앨범을 완성했다.
13번과 14번 트랙 'Gone Days', '바보라도 알아'는 방향을 잃고 고민에 빠진 사람들의 이야기를 음악에 녹여 공감대를 형성하는 '믹스테이프 프로젝트'(Mixtape Project)로 발표했던 곡이다.
스트레이 키즈는 2018년 발매한 프리 데뷔 앨범 'Mixtape'(믹스테이프) 때부터 가공되지 않은 날 것 그대로의 매력을 선사해 왔다. 신선하고 특색 있는 재료로 완성한 새로운 요리이자 첫 정규 앨범인 'GO生'으로 K팝 시장을 개척할 것으로 기대된다.

- The shipping date is based on business days. It may be delayed depending on the stock and local delivery agency situation.
- When the multiple orders include delayed items, the products will be shipped after securing all the stocks for the ordered items.
- Shipping date may be changed depending on the order status..
- Customers will be responsible for any shipping fee for returning or exchanging products due to a simple change of mind or mistake.
- Differences in the standard may occur depending on the method of measurement.
- All products will be delivered through the Korean distribution center of Ktown4u.
- Some of the products may not be shipped to a certain country or location depending on the item.
- Certain countries may apply VAT regulation.
■ Domestic shipping lost/damage
- We are using Lotte Logis for domestic shipping. In case of loss or damage due to Lotte LogisLogistics, you need to complain before the deadline below.
- Damage: within 14 days of the date on which the package has been shipped out.
- Lost: within 30 days of the date on which the package has been shipped out.
- Investigation cannot be received if the time limit for loss or damage has expired
■ Order Cancellation
- You can cancel your order by pressing the 'cancel' button from My Page.
- Your order can be canceled if the order status is 'ordered' or 'preparing for items,' but it cannot be canceled if your order is a purchase from an event or if the status is 'preparing for shipping.'
- The cancellation process will start within two business days, and the refund process may take 3~7 business days, depending on the payment method.
- Overseas Credit Card Refund Policy
a. Proceed with a refund by the rules of the card issuer
b. If the payment has already been made by credit card, the payment may be refunded next month.
c. If the refund amount has not been deposited after the cancellation approval, please contact the card company you used.
- PayPal Refund policy
If you pay with a credit or debit card, the refund will be refunded to the card you used, depending on the card issuer, the refund could take up to 30 days.
a. If you pay using your PayPal point, the refund will be credited to your PayPal account.

* The video was recorded after the album was already unsealed.

- Please note that the outer case of the product is designed to protect the items inside. Surface imperfections such as minor scratches, small dents, or scuffs may occur during manufacturing or shipping and are not eligible for exchange, regardless of unboxing video submission.
- For any omission/damage/defect of the product, please capture the unboxing video where it shows the purchased product, composition, quantity, and image and makes an inquiry on the CS Center at the bottom of the Ktown4u website.
- CD/LP, DVD/Blu-ray can only be checked as defective when playback is poor. Minor scratches on the CD itself are not defective.
■ Review
- The reviews you have written can be used for commercial purposes (marketing materials).
- Reviews can be written based on the order number, and if you purchase the same product multiple times in one order, you can register only once, and if the order number is different for the same product, you can write a review multiple times for the same product.
